Towel Award
The “Towel Award” was created in 2007 to recognize swimmers who consistently swim their best time in one (or more) event(s) for each of the five regular weeks of the swim season. The idea behind the award was to motivate our swimmers to perform at their very best each week – no matter if they are swimming in A meets or B meets. The towels have quickly become a coveted item among Manor Woods swimmers! Only one towel is awarded per swimmer – swimmers who earn the award in multiple years will receive another cool Manor Woods item! Swimmers can keep track each week of their times in each event and work to better their times every week. (Unfortunately, weather cancellations may eliminate a swimmer's chance of earning the towel award.)
