Dive Team
Manor Woods 2026 Diving Season
Diving is all about having fun and learning how to dive safely. The Dive Team is open to all Manor Woods members ages 4-18 who are comfortable in deep water, can pass the MW Pool swim test, and looking for a new but FUN challenge!
Dive Team registration is "first-come, first-served," as we may have to cap team size due to limited board time.
Dive Team Goal
The goal of the Manor Woods Dive Team is to teach safe diving and promote good sportsmanship in a supervised and supportive environment. Diving is a great way to develop courage, confidence, and coordination. Plus it's just fun!
The team welcomes individuals with no prior experience as well as experienced divers. Beginning divers learn the basic front and back jumps and dives; returning and experienced divers may learn more complicated somersault, reverse, inward, and twisting dives.
Dive Team Eligibility
Any Manor Woods Swim Club member aged 4-18 can join the dive team. No previous experience is necessary. Our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know about safe diving. The only requirements to join are:
- A commitment to learn, listen, and exercise safely
- A willingness to dive in our competitive meets
- Have fun!
Parent commitment is important. We rely on parent volunteers to support our team. All families are required to volunteer at a minimum of TWO meets. There is a job for everyone.
All divers must be registered and insured (by payment of registration fees) before divers can participate in dive practices.
