B Meet entries will open at noon on the Saturday prior to the B Meet. Swimmers can choose their own events for B Meets. (Note: 10 & Unders who would like to swim IM, must have approval from a coach.)

Please note: the rules for the Manor Woods Swim Team are that a swimmer may swim no more than four individual events (three different individual strokes and an Individual Medley) per week. A swim week begins with an “A” meet followed by a “B” meet. A stroke may NOT be repeated in the same swim week.

New rules (since 2024 season) have been made in attempt to maximize successes, minimize disappointments, and improve the flow of Wednesday night B meets :

All 10 & Unders who would like to swim IM, must have approval from a coach – the swimmer must request to swim IM that week at practice, etc. and if they approve, the coaches will let the B Rep know who will swim IM that week and the rep will add the swimmers manually.) No 10 and under swimmers should be adding IM on their own.

8 & Unders who would like to swim Breaststroke or Butterfly must have approval from a coach – the swimmer must request to swim either Breaststroke or Butterfly that week at practice, etc. and if they approve the coaches will let the B Rep know who will swim those events that week and the rep will add the swimmers manually.) No 8 and under swimmers should be adding Butterfly or Breaststroke on their own.

'A' Swim Meet - Coaches determine the line ups for 'A' Meets. Families should just confirm the availability of all of their swimmers.

Time Trials is a “meet” in which our swimmers swim every event in order to get baseline times for the season. Usually the coaches use these times in creating the line-up for the first “A” meet of the season.

Please indicate whether your child can attend Time Trials and what events that he/she will swim. Swimmers should be swimming all strokes they can swim legally. New swimmers should only sign up for freestyle and backstroke. Most experienced swimmers 11 and over should swim the 100 Individual Medley in addition to the 4 individual strokes. Please consult with the coaches or email the Manor Woods "A" Reps if you have a question about what your child should swim.

To sign your swimmer up for events, click the green Meet Entry button above. Then scroll down and click the blue “edit” button. On the next screen, indicate that your child is “Available for this meet” and choose the events that he/she is going to swim. Once complete, click “save”.
