The team Pot Luck Dinner begins immediately following the weekly spirit activity. These events are a great way to conveniently feed your family as well as socialize with other Manor Woods families on Friday evenings during swim season. The Pot Luck is open to all registered Swimmers, Divers, Pre-Teamers and their families. If your athletes plan to attend, then we need the parents to volunteer! To make the Pot Luck work, each family must bring food each week.

Families are requested to bring:

1. a healthy main or side dish "of your choosing” (serving 8-10)

and

2. a drink. We would really appreciate you considering bringing juice, lemonade, Gatorade, or water, knowing many children have a meet in the morning, and the whole swim team will be out in the heat for many hours the following morning.

Please bring your food item in a non-glass container. (plastic, aluminum, etc.) Most of the children are running around with bare feet, and broken glass could cause a serious injury. THANK YOU!!!

Families with special dietary considerations are encouraged to prepare these dishes accordingly. *** Please be sensitive to specific food allergies when preparing your dish and appropriately mark any food items containing nuts.***

The team provides utensils, cups, plates, napkins, and ice. The team is responsible for cleaning up the area at the conclusion of the event. New for 2022: we are asking parents to serve the food. Disposable gloves will be provided.

One or two people to pick up approximately 8-9 dozen donuts for the team and distribute one donut per swimmer/diver after practice. (Please email Marcie before hand to confirm the #) Team will reimburse for donuts but volunteer should look for a place that sells donuts for a reasonable price. Receipt should be submitted to Mike Barnes and Marcie Ament.

Senior swimmers/divers, with the help of parents, will prepare a hot breakfast for after practice. We will have multiple servings, one after each age group finishes.

We need some pancake makers, servers, supply buyers, and help setting up and cleaning up. Most importantly we need bacon fryers as there is no limit to how much bacon the kids can eat. Bacon should be cooked at home and dropped off.
