Swim Team Only and Swim & Dive Combined Registration 2026

Registration for swim team and dive team is now available online and is the only method of registering! You can pay online using a credit card, you can pay via Venmo (@MWSDT-2025), or you can mail a check payable to Manor Woods Swim & Dive Team to: Julie Kelly, 14609 Melinda Lane, Rockville, MD 20853 You must be a member of Manor Woods Swim Club to join the swim, dive, or pre- team.

Criteria and Costs:

Swim team criteria: Must be able to swim one length of the pool with a reasonable stroke. If you cannot quite swim one length, start with pre-team. (If your child previously did pre-team in 2025 and he or she was able to get across the pool, please sign up for swim team and the coaches will assess each swimmer on the first few days of practice).  

Dive team: divers should to be able to pass the MW pool swim test.

Swim team cost: Each Swimmer - $120

Dive Team costs: Each Diver - $120 

Swim & Dive combined costs: Each swimmer/diver - $230

Pre-Team Criteria: Pre-team it not a substitute for swim lessons! Swimmers should be comfortable in the water and be able to cross at least half the length of the pool using a kickboard on their own. 

Pre-team costs: Each pre-teamer - $70 

**We are considerate of any financial hardships, and are open to discussing individual needs as necessary**

Refund policy:

(1) Through June 1st, full refund minus $20 + any incurred credit card fees

(2) June 2nd through June 8th, 50% refund minus $20 + any incurred credit card fees

(3) No refunds after June 8th


Gender Diversity and Inclusion Policy

Manor Woods Swim & Dive Team promotes our sports in a safe and fun environment for all participating youth athletes. This includes those of all genders and gender identities. All of our athletes should participate in accordance with his/her/their gender identity, irrespective of the sex listed on the athlete’s birth certificate or other records.

In the case of a returning athlete who needs to make a change to their existing registration, the team representative can coordinate with the team and the Montgomery County Swim and/or Dive League(s) to make the necessary changes in the databases. 

In the case of a non-binary athlete, the athlete will need to decide which category they feel is most appropriate/comfortable: to compete in the boy events or to compete in the girl events.
