We received the information below from the Montgomery Stroke and Turn Clinic Staff and wanted to pass it along for anyone interested. Registration opens August 11th at 6:30am and spots fill very quickly, and sometimes within the first few hours of registration. So, set your alarms if you are interested! The information below is cut and pasted from the email we received. Go Manor Woods! 

Montgomery Stroke and Turn Clinic (MSTC) (Sites @ Gaithersburg Aquatic Center (GAC), Germantown, MLK, Olney, Rockville, and KSAC will be reopening in November). MSTC’s programs run 24 sessions on Sunday evenings from October until May and are designed for swimmers 5-18 years old who wish to improve their ability to swim the four competitive strokes, learn correct starts and turns, gain strength and have fun. Swimmers are separated into subgroups by age and current ability, and the older more advanced subgroups will see limited interval training. In order to participate, swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle without stopping.

• Price: $575 for the entire program (October to May)

SwiMontgomery (Sites @ Germantown, MLK, Olney, Silver Spring and KSAC will be starting a program again later this year) SWIMontgomery is a developmental program (weekdays) for children, 6 to 13 years old, who have an interest in competitive swimming and want to build a foundation of related skills. During the year, there are 3 nine-week sessions of SwiMontgomery that meet twice a week (18 practices offered during each session). In order to participate, swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle without stopping.

• Price: $375 for each 9-week session (18 practices total in each session)

Advanced Lessons (Sites @ Germantown, MLK, Olney, Silver Spring and KSAC will be starting a program again later this year) 

Advanced lessons is for children, 6 to 13 years old, who can swim one length of freestyle and backstroke, tread water, and swim in deep water. This program is designed to refine techniques for freestyle and backstroke as well as introduce breaststroke and butterfly. Swimmers will be divided into subgroups by current ability. During the year, these classes are offered in six 35 - minute sessions (weekdays or weekends) . Group size is limited to 10 students per instructor.
