Hello Manor Woods Swim Families,

Hard to believe we are winding down the season and already into week 5. We still have a lot of fun in store and hope to finish everything off strong!

Big congrats to our swimmers who competed in the Division E Relay Carnival this morning, where the team finished in fourth place. Results can be found here. In exciting news, our boys Male Open 200m Medley of Jack Tovornik, Patrick Fisher, Sebastian Ament, and Jake Baxter finished first and smashed the team record with a time of 1:51.50. Congrats, guys!

Events for the Week:

TUESDAY: MCSL Coaches Long Course Meet, 6pm. Come out to Rockville Swim & Fitness Center to cheer on Victoria Cerdan in the 11-12 boys 100m freestyle. This meet features the top swimmers throughout the county! Look for our team tent in the grassy area by the long-course pool and get ready to cheer like crazy for Victoria!

WEDNESDAY: B Meet at Hallowell (17721 Prince Philip Drive, Olney, MD), 6pm. PLEASE make sure all entries are in on Monday 7/6by 11:59pm.

FRIDAY: Friday Evening Potluck: 8&Under Families are Up for Serving, Set-Up, and Clean Up. Sign up for a shift here.

Stock up on MW merch! We will have extra t-shirts ($20), car magnets ($5), yard signs ($15), car flags ($15) and practice caps ($5) for sale at the potluck. Cash or venmo preferred.

SATURDAY: "A" Meet Away at Old Georgetown. We will share meet-up and warm-up info closer in. Please remember to mark your child’s availability and to sign up for a volunteer position. Job sign-up is already open.

SUNDAY: "B" Relay Carnival at Hallowell

Mark your availability for this! Coaches will be posting lineups for relays later this week and our B reps will be sending communication with details for the event. You must enter your child's availability on SwimTopia by Monday, 7/7 at 11:59pm.

Even if your child isn't swimming, come out and show your Manor Woods spirit!

JULY 15: Pre-Team Mini Meet at Manor Woods, 10:15am. Come out and cheer for the tiniest Terrapins! + Final B Meet at King Farm.

JULY 16: Poster Making for Divisionals. Freeze pops will be offered for all those who make a poster!

JULY 17: Pre-Team Banquet

JULY 18: Division E Championships at Manor Woods. Look out for info for volunteering.

JULY 19: End of Season Banquet. Look out for info on RSVP’ing.
