Hello Swim, Dive and Pre Team Families,

Please read this entire message for important information!

Tonight is the team photo and the raft night/ice cream social/high school bonfire.

The events are only open to registered swimmers, divers and pre teamers. Unfortunately, siblings are not able to attend.

 Timeline –

• Pool closes to greater membership at 4:45 pm; everyone exits except event volunteers.

• Team admitted at 5 pm. 

• Team Photo - The team will begin to line up at 5:10 pm for the team photo. (We also need a few strong adults to move the diving boards!) The sooner the kids are lined up and ready, the sooner the photo will be over! Parents of younger children, please assist with lining your child up and keeping them occupied. The children will need to be lined up in height order. All offers of assistance are welcome! Anyone who has a team suit should wear it.

The photo will be taken around 5:30 p.m.

Just like last year - all team families will receive 1 complimentary team photo. No need to place an order for a team photo unless you want more than one.

• Ice Cream Social/Raft Night –

RAFT NIGHT IS AN "ALL HANDS ON DECK" EVENT! Please ensure your younger children are supervised, especially when in the water. Extremely large rafts are not permitted, as we have found these to be potentially dangerous in the past.

Similar to last year, we will be splitting our team into two groups.

The 10 and Under kids will get a chance to be in the pool first with their rafts while the 11 and overs play 9 Square or have ice cream. And then the kids can switch. This means that volunteers will potentially need to be serving for two shifts. This is an "all hands on deck" event, especially given the size of our team. If you are a swim or dive family and haven't already signed up to help, please offer to help when you are at the event. If you have younger children, please supervise them when they are in the water and offer to help serve ice cream or clean up when they are not in the water. If you are a pre team family, please don't worry about volunteering. We prefer you to supervise your children. :)

• Raft Night will end at 8:30 pm. Everyone should depart by 8:45 p.m. besides bonfire volunteers and ice cream clean-up team.
