Hello Manor Woods!

This Saturday, June 20 is the second "A" swim meet away at Old Farm (1 Swim Club Way, Rockville 20852). A preliminary line up has been established. If you haven’t already done so, please check on-line (select Meet Entry for the Week 2A/Old Farm meet under the 2026 Calendar) to see if and what your child is swimming (you must be logged into your account!) Please note that the line up may be subject to change!! If your swimmer is scheduled to swim and CANNOT ATTEND, contact Coach Andrea and Coach Joey IMMEDIATELY at [email protected].

Also, if your child is swimming, make sure he or she initials the lineup that's hanging outside the guard shack by tomorrow.

SPIRIT: To go with the spirit theme this week, wear your derby hat for the Kentucky Derby theme! This will also apply for the B Meet on Wednesday.

All swimmers are encouraged to attend even if they are not swimming to cheer the team on!

MEET-UP & WARM-UPS: Our warm-ups will be from 8:25-8:50am. We will be meeting as a team at Manor Woods at 7:40 am to caravan over to Old Farm (Kay Adcock-Peterson will be at the pool during our spirit activity tomorrow evening and in the parking lot Saturday morning to distribute car ribbons/streamers to anyone who still needs them.)

PARKING:

From Old Farm: We have an upper AND a lower grass lot you can use, and you can park along that long drive in the IN direction only to the pool along that long drive if you wish. Alternatively, we also suggest using the Faith Methodist Church right next to our pool along Montrose and you can use their lot. There is a short path/steps from their parking lot up to ours so it's safe and away from traffic. Regardless, you can enter the pool through the side gate in the upper lot.

CONCESSIONS: Old Farm will run a concession stand that will have a variety of breakfast options and other items for sale.

VOLUNTEER INFO: Thank you to all who have already volunteered for the meet! Timers should check in with Sarah and Julie upon arrival to Old Farm.

Old Farm plans to start the officials meeting at 8:40 and the scratch meeting around 8:50.

POST-MEET LUNCH: The team will meet at Panera (1780 E Jefferson St, Rockville) for lunch after the meet. All are welcome to join us!

"B" meet entries will open for sign ups on Saturday afternoon. Additional info will be sent.
