Hello, Manor Woods!

This Saturday is our first “A” swim meet, as we host CCRA at Manor Woods. A preliminary lineup has been created. If you haven’t already, please check online (select Meet Entry for Week 1A/CCRA meet under the 2026 Calendar) to see if and what your child is swimming. You must be logged into your account.

Please note that the lineup is subject to change. If your swimmer is scheduled to swim but CANNOT ATTEND, please contact Coach Andrea and Coach Joey immediately at [email protected].

If your child is swimming, please make sure they initial the lineup posted outside the guard shack by tomorrow.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SATURDAY

We still need:

• A runner
• A ribbon writer
• A clubhouse cleanup person
• Volunteers to bring refreshments

TEAM T-SHIRTS ARE IN!

You're going to love this year's team t-shirt. We have a crew of volunteers who will be helping to distribute them starting on Friday at the spirit activity and potluck. We will continue to have them at practices next week. Note: These will go to anyone who registered for the team prior to May 14 (we have another batch coming in a few weeks). Your child will receive a shirt in the size you indicated in your registration form--we cannot accommodate exchanges for other sizes. Want a team t-shirt for yourself or other family members? We will be sharing a google form for ordering early next week.

SPIRIT ACTIVITY

Spirit activities are open to all team members : swim, dive, and pre-teamers. We'll start at 6:30 PM due to school still being in session with the potluck to follow (arrive at 6:30 with food). This week is our Big Buddy/Little Buddy meet and greet—please plan to attend! The spirit activity will include designing MW socks and making posters (markers will be provided).

Also, Kay Adcock-Peterson will have car streamers available at Friday's potluck and before the meet in the parking lot. Make sure you grab some!

MEET DAY INFORMATION

• Arrival time: 7:45 AM
• Warm-ups: 8:00–8:20 AM

Parking:
Please walk if you are within walking distance, or park on Bauer, Nadine, or Briarwood Terrace. We ask that the pool parking lot be reserved as much as possible for the visiting team.

Concessions:
The Terrapin Café will be open, offering bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, breakfast items, coffee, and other beverages.

“B” meet entries will open for sign-ups on Saturday afternoon. Additional information will follow.
