Good Afternoon Manor Woods Swim Families,

Tomorrow is the day — the first day of swim practice! Please refer to Coach Andrea and Coach Joey's email from last week for info about practice, weather rules, and other important details. (For quick reference, our practice schedule can be found here and our team calendar includes all events throughout the season.)

Team Gear Distribution

All swimmers will receive a Manor Woods swim cap and bag tag in the coming weeks. We’ll be handing them out at practice on throughout the week. If you ordered custom name caps, you can pick them up as well. Please remind your swimmer to stop by our table before or after their practice.

If your swimmer won’t be at practice this week, don’t worry — gear can be picked up later.

We’ll also be selling:

• Manor Woods car magnets – $5
• Practice swim caps (while supplies last) – $5
• Manor Woods Swim and Dive Team Yard Signs (while supplies last) - $15
• Team t-shirts from Summer 2025 (limited sizes) - $5

Please bring small bills. Venmo is accepted, but cash is preferred.

Time Trials - Reminder to Register! 

Time trials are just around the corner on June 6th. (Time Trials is a “meet” in which our swimmers swim every event in order to get baseline times for the season. Usually the coaches use these times in creating the line-up for the first “A” meet of the season. Directions, meet entry and volunteer sign ups can be found on the team calendar.) 

Make sure you sign your swimmers up! We need lots of parent volunteers to make the meet happen. Currently, our biggest need is for timers and the clean-up crew. When you go to sign up your swimmer, you'll see the option to sign up for a job, where you can explore all open options.

We will go over this at the new parent meeting on Monday, 6/1. This meeting is on zoom at 8pm. 

"A" Meet Availability

Please find time in the next two weeks to go into Swimtopia and mark your swimmers as either "Available" or "Unavilable" for all Saturday "A" meets. You can update these marks later if needed, but it's bet to get this done early.
