We are just two days away from the Robin Hood Invitational and are excited to see many of your pools on our boards. We’ve ordered slightly cooler weather for Friday and it looks like the skies will be clear.

We have had 70 divers sign up already and know that many tend to sign up today and tomorrow. Please remind your divers to sign up ahead of the meet if they can. We will accept entries at the meet but it helps the meet to run smoothly when we know as many divers in advance.

While we have many divers signed up, we have a lot of holes in the volunteer sign up. Thank you to all of those who have signed up already. Our biggest need is for judges at all age groups. As you know, we can’t have a meet without judges. Please ask your judges who have divers attending the Invitational to please sign up. Coaches, you may be asked to sit a judging seat if we are not able to fill with parent volunteers.

Concessions – Our Arrow Café will be open from the beginning of the meet with snacks, cold drinks and our famous pulled pork sandwiches. We will also be having Raising Cane’s chicken tenders beginning at 5:15 until we run out. And, Kona Ice will be on site beginning at 4:00. The Arrow Cafe accept Venmo, Paypal and cash (no physical credit card purchases).

Jolyn will have a pop-up sale and we have Invitational T-Shirts for sale for $15.

Please remember we have made several changes to the structure of the meet in hopes of keeping it running on time. This is the first time we are going live with these changes, so we ask for patience as we work out any kinks along the way. Please note:

• The warm-up schedule has changed from previous years. There will be a warm up before every age group. The estimated timeline is attached.
• Please review the timeline for when Dive sheets are due – collecting dive sheets and doing dive order last minute is a big slow down in the meet so please turn in your sheets as early as possible. Sheets may be edited up until the start of the event.
• Dive order will be by team to help the flow of the meet.
• For divers 11 & up, if you know ahead of time which dive may be dropped if we need to reduce the number of dives please put an star by that dive; if your diver isn’t sure and wants to wait until the do their dives in warm-ups, that’s fine we will adjust before the meet. The more we know in advance, the more time we are able to save
• SENIORS – if you have a senior diver. Please write it on the top of their dive sheet so that we can acknowledge their last MCDL dive.
